Biography

Sana Bilal is Health Physicist in UAE Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR). Based in Abu Dhabi, she has 5 years of experience with 1 year in the field of medical radiology. She has a BS degree from UAE University and MS degree from Liverpool John Moores University, UK and is the secretary of the Radiation Protection Committee in the UAE. As a regulator she has been working the last two years on the licensing of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plants for the areas related to radioactive waste management which is the subject of this presentation.
