Biography

Robert (Bob) Zelmer is President, Environmental Legacy Associates, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada established in September 2013, to provide support to stakeholders and proponents in sound environmental decisionmaking. Bob served 28 years in the nuclear environmental remediation field with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) to July 2013. From 1999 through 2013 at AECL he was Director, Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Office, Ottawa, Canada. He has frequently presented papers at WMS conferences and ICEM conferences. Bob is a registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario and holds degrees from the University of Toronto in Industrial Engineering and Urban Planning.
