Biography

Joe Pavletich is a professional geologist responsible for planning and reporting the residual waste characterization sampling and analysis activities associated with operational closure of the high-activity waste tanks at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. He has over 25 years of experience with site characterization and remediation programs for soil and groundwater contamination at numerous Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and private industry sites. He has also been involved with the environmental portions of nuclear power plant license applications. He has a BS and MS in geology from California State University Hayward.
