Biography

Frederic CHAMBON has been the Chief Technical officer from AREVA Federal Services (AFS) since august 2011. AFS is a subsidiary of the AREVA group. AFS manages the business between the AREVA group and the US federal government. His former position was at the head of the Decommissioning and Dismantling (D&D) division of the AREVA Marcoule site. He was especially in charge of the D&D project management of the UP1 Plant. UP1 was the first spent nuclear fuel reprocessing plant in France. Frederic CHAMBON has more than fifteen successful years of experience in the management of large nuclear projects from new builds to D&D. Frederic CHAMBON graduated as ceramist engineer from Limoges
