Biography

Jenelle Parson is a Master of Science candidate in Radiological Health Sciences specializing in Health Physics at Colorado State University. She grew up in Sherwood, Oregon and received an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering at Oregon State University in 2012. Ms. Parson’s current research involves modeling occupational situations using Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport (MCNP), and she has research experience involving plant uptake, biological remediation, and deterministic dosimetry codes. Her research interests include dosimetry, environmental remediation, and waste management, with a focus on the nuclear fuel cycle. She is an active member of the Health Physics Society and
