Abstract

This paper discusses the supply chains system of health care facilities such as hospitals. This study discusses a jointly optimization problem of hospital supply chain that show great opportunity for reduicing cost and improving service level for laundry. In order to satify the random demand of hospital concerning the laundry system, the laundry facility system called another  subcontractor. The principal Laundromat is subjected to a random failure. Consequently, an imperfect maintenance policy is proposed in order to reduce the average number of failure of the Laundromat. The objective of this study is to determine simultaneously the optimal plans of washing for the principal and subcontractor laundry facilities and the optimal maintenance strategy by minimzing the total cost of washing, storage and maintenance.
