Abstract
The following article has the purpose to estimate the effect of country and time on the attractiveness of retail. For this, a database and indicators of world retail trade from 2004 to 2019 are provided. In particular, the index built by the consulting firm AT Kearney is considered. From here the attractiveness score and the attractiveness position of the country are obtained. In addition, the effect of the temporal variable is identified using linear regression models. Finally, the effect of the temporal variables is estimated with categorical variables to compare multiple territories for 16 years.
