Improving the Management Quality of Research and Community Service Institute using SIMPEMAS

Abstract

The Pakuan University Research and Community Service Institute (RCSI) is an institution that has the task of facilitating, coordinating and conducting research and community service activities within Pakuan University and continues to develop and improve the quality and quantity of research and community services, and carry out multi-research research. disciplines and or collaborative research between universities nationally and internationally. The Pakuan University Research and Community Service Management Information System (SIMPEMAS) was designed with the aim of improving the quality of the Pakuan University RCSI management so that it can provide convenience in facilitating, coordinating and carrying out research activities and community service activities. SIMPEMAS is designed using the System Development Live Cycle (SDLC) method so that it can be easily developed in a sustainable manner. SIMPEMAS is very helpful for RCSI activities in facilitating, coordinating and conducting research as well as community service activities such as the process of collecting, assessing and managing proposals for research and community service activities in Pakuan University. SIMPEMAS user satisfaction is measured using a survey method for RCSI Pakuan University stakeholders with a value of ninety five percent. Because there are still some improvements regarding the integration of SIMPEMAS with other systems in the Pakuan University environment.
