Abstract
Security services offer depends on the demand of that services. The changes of homicides across time affects the amount of resources required to offer security services. The planning and control of police services operation in certain territory can be characterized through fixed and variable components. In this article cyclical components for the police identification of homicides are identified from 2010 to 2020. To accomplish that it is used public information from information system SIEDCO of Colombian national police that is in concordance with National general attorney. Then it is used a regression model with categorical variables for the record date. From that model coefficients are obtained for the year of the event and its week.
