Abstract

Irregular migrations in arid and semi-arid regions have confronted in serious challenges Amount of water consumed in populated areas. One of the effective strategies for managing water resources, especially in metropolitan areas such as Tehran, can be water pricing. Pricing scenarios in different domains are codified to Due to the specific situation of demand and supply. In public works such as water, we face constraints on Ceiling and floor prices. Demand side management can be an acceptable contribution to controlling consumption in drought-Critical terms. In this research, a systematic approach to the management of water consumption is discussed and a comprehensive system model presented and developed with supply, demand and, of course, population subsystems. Fixed and Step price scenarios were assessed in penalty, non-penalty and per capita modes. The results showed that urban water consumption is decreased Significant amount in step price condition  and Tehran's water resources in this mode will be evacuated by 2050.
