Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries prone to earthquake. Which causes builing to suffer from damage and even collapse. In designing a highrise building structures, there is a main principle that should be considered, it is to increasing the structural strength against the lateral force. Evaluation structure performance can gave solution to the planning of skyscaper structure going forward so that better and there is no an error like the planning before. Based on the calculation result, the displacement value of x direction obtained 0.2049 m and y direction obtained 0.955 m. Then the plastic joint mechanism occurs together between the column and the beam which shows that the structure is not in accordance with the SRPMK condition, namely strong column weak beam. The level of structural performance in the x direction of 0.009 m is in the immediate occupancy category and the structural performance level in the y direction is in the immediate occupancy category. So that the building is still safe during an earthquake, the risk of loss of life and structural failure is not very significant and the building is not experiencing damage.
