Abstract

Topology optimization is a mathematical method that optimizes material layout within a given design space for a given set of loads, boundary conditions and constraints with the goal of maximizing the performance of the system. The topology optimization is used to minimize the material in a way such that it doesn't affects the function of the workpiece. This method has widely been used applications in aerospace, mechanical, biochemical and civil engineering. This study aims to see how topology optimization will affect our original design for different targeted mass percentage.
