Abstract

The lack of consumer participation in designing the laptop, making the quality of the laptop design is reduced. Moreover, from the importance of environmentally conscious, people demanding laptop manufacturer to be able to make eco-friendly laptop. To answer that, this study conducted. This study used two methods; ECQFD (Environmentally Conscious Quality Function Deployment) and TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving). ECQFD is used to translate customer needs into quality characteristics based on the environmental aspects and TRIZ is used to define the technical specification of green laptop. As a result, there are three laptop designs.
