Abstract

Productivity is a crucial indicator to present the performance and profit for a company. Due to the productivity as compulsory criteria that concern by company, there are plenty of methods to calculate and measure the productivity in current industry. Multi expression of productivity causes engineer and researcher difficult to select and apply the most appropriate mathematical model of productivity regarding to the problem condition. In this paper presents a summary of the assessment and mathematical expression of productivity regarding to different scope and perspectives in industry sector. The term of productivity is present by different mathematical expression with clear explanation regarding to the current existed assessment of productivity in industries. This research paper will increase the interest of researcher to do more research on productivity based on the clear direction and concept of productivity since the area of productivity still lack of researcher to explore more in productivity area in industries.
