This study aims to determine the role of solar power plants to support economic development and agricultural tourism in Jombang. It also recommends increasing Independent Learning activities at the Freedom Campus, Narotama University, Surabaya, Indonesia. This research was conducted using a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods, where the respondents were students of the university. As a form of green technology, the results serve research purposes, while the recommendations enable the university to improve the economy and agricultural tourism. The way that can be done is to increase community service and student engagement in Village Thematic KKN MBKM activities, focusing on the Agricultural Tourism Theme.
