Abstract
The increasing number of world population and high levels of urbanization require government to seek more efficient and effective ways to solve urban problems. One of the problems is safety and security. This research finds out the indicators and variables to measure the smart security and safety implementation of a city. By using qualitative method, this study able to formulate a model that can be used to measure smart safety and security in Indonesia as well as in other countries.
