Track: Reliability and Maintenance
Abstract
Throughout the past few decades, the manufacturing/remanufacturing system has acquired import momentum in academia and production engineering. The maintenance actions in a manufacturing/remanufacturing system require period time that induce delays in demand satisfaction. The objective of our work is to determine the optimal maintenance plan and then to study the induced risk according the maintenance periods. The risk assessment is based on the study of the service level that is evaluated from the demand satisfaction. The maintenance actions is considered in both manufacturing and remanufacturing flows. In the proposed work we consider two distinguishable demands: one for new products and other for remanufactured products. The risk is studied for both product types.
