Abstract
One of the key assets of an Ecommerce platform is its logistics services. First Mile Logistics is a term usually applied to the service of picking the product from a seller and delivering it to the hub or warehouse of an ecommerce company.
The overall objective is to understand the critical elements in the process and define a measurement system to evaluate the health of the overall function. This will also enable insight gathering into the future capabilities that will need to be developed.
