This study explores artificial intelligence (AI) technology trends and health and medical references. The study describes how healthcare will change with the evolution of AI technology, and also summarizes its core technologies. This problem is viewed from the perspective of 'information overload', the medical literature doubles every three years, and in addition to the explosive increase in patient data, approximately 700,000 new scientific papers are published every year. It also predicts a shortage of oncologists, and the demand is expected to increase by 42%. Due to this expected shortage, doctors will not be able to explore the best treatment for patients in clinical trials. This problem can be solved with AI Watson's motivation to solve the healthcare industry problem. Moreover, Watson Oncology solutions are reviewed from the end-user interface perspective.
This study also examines the global corporate platform business and explains how AI and machine learning technologies are expanding in the market through use cases. It highlights the ecosystem partner business model that can support startups and venture companies, including healthcare models. Finally, we identify the need to review partnerships with healthcare companies in terms of solution innovation. Artificial intelligence and Watson will bring many changes to the healthcare business. This study deals with AI, understanding of AI innovation, cloud platform business, the importance of datasets, and the need to improve the knowledge base further.
