Abstract

Industry 4.0 technologies are reordering the global industry structure, creating new markets, products, improving labor productivity and driving growth in advanced economies. They challenge existing industries, support the big data that can help transform how people live and work.  Technologies such as Mechatronics and Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) have enormous impacts on predictive maintenance, improved decision-making in real time, real time inventory and improved flexibility among jobs.  These technologies have a great impact on labor market by shifting most of manual and low-skilled jobs to automation. This paper presents some innovative mechatronics projects created using simulation, modeling, control and real time design and testing.
