Abstract
This research focuses on heat retaining products produced by the BBM Karpet home industry. BBM Karpet itself is a home industry that produces heat retaining products. Based on observations and research that has been carried out, there are product defects during the process of making heat retaining products. This research aims to identify, analyze and provide suggestions for improvements for the BBM Carpet home industry so that it can reduce product defects produced based on an FMEA assessment to find out in detail the defects that occur, how these defects can occur, repair solutions currently being carried out, and assessments RPN aims to identify defects that need to be reduced. The aim of using the FTA method is to understand cause-and-effect relationships in the production process, and a fishbone diagram is used to identify potential causal factors that contribute to failure including human, machine, method, raw material and environmental aspects. This research contributes to the development of a risk analysis methodology that utilizes an integrated approach with FMEA, FTA and Fishbone Diagram methods to improve risk management and production processes for home industries that produce heat-resistant products.
