Abstract
Accidents or incidents can occur when least expected in the workplace environment. The South African Government made provision for safety to be mandatory in terms safety act.
Research design/approach: The research will follow a mixed-method approach.
Problem statement:
Although safety incidents at work in NGOs are a concern, they are not given high priority as health care is. Health care in NGOs seem neglected which reveal gap existing.
Findings, an overwhelming non-governmental organization complied with the safety regulation. However, NGOs did not comply with the health part. The analysis used, SPSS to analyse quantitative data, for, qualitative data (QDA) package Atlas.ti 8th used.
