Abstract

This paper's goal is to analyze the body of literature on blockchain technology, highlight specific trends, and assess its potential utility in various supply chain management (SCM) applications that utilize RFID and the Internet of Things (IoT). Blockchain technology is quickly gaining traction in a variety of sectors, and it has enormous potential to do away with middlemen and boost SCM productivity. This essay emphasizes the crucial part that blockchain technology has played in igniting a conversation about innovation and technology. This research will aid in the advancement of academic understanding of blockchain technology. This article discusses the additional roles that blockchain and IoT play in the supply chain. The digitization of supply chains should completely modify management procedures and advance numerous sustainability-related factors. In example, Industry 4.0 plans aim to digitize many processes by utilizing cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things, RFID, and blockchain.
