Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) strategy in the Philippine stock market over a 10-year period. The MACD strategy is a widely used technical analysis tool that helps identify potential buy and sell signals based on the convergence and divergence of moving averages. By examining the historical performance of the Philippine stock market, this review provides insights into the profitability and reliability of the MACD strategy as an investment approach.
