Abstract

This report aims to understand the effects of bioplastic degradation by replacing the raw material with avocado seed among other fruits and vegetables. One of the main problems affecting the world is pollution due to the large amount of solid waste that is discarded daily, in tons, covering all countries, generating an excessive accumulation of garbage. Now, going inland, the recycling of solid, organic, and inorganic waste is scarce in Peru, therefore, these wastes end up in seas and oceans. Everything explained above happens while plastic production remains constant and lucrative in the active business. In the context of the contamination and the use that will be granted to avocado seeds, we opted for a methodology of bibliographic review in the production of bioplastics based on these seeds that are not usually required for a second use. A comparison was made about various articles, like the investigation of bioplastic production based on avocado seeds with other organic residues. This comparison will reveal the components that these have and are necessary to produce bioplastic. The feasibility of replacing plastic packaging and reducing pollution shall be demonstrated from this.
