Abstract

This research aims to reduce waste, increase efficiency in delivering products on time as specified by customers, study the Shaft Rocking production process, and apply the Lean concept technique by using a Value Stream map in data analysis, to find the wastes that occur in the process, from the analysis, it was found that there was a process that was unnecessary to the production, so the problem was solved by applying the ECRS principle to reduce the wastes, improve the production process, eliminate unnecessary processes, the combination of similar steps and arrangement of steps to make it easier to work After the improvement, it was found that the production process was reduced from 10 steps to 9 steps. The lead time before improvement was 31.08 days to 23.93 days, resulting in reduced non-on-time delivery from 56% to 12%.
