Abstract

We need strategic allies that can diversify knowledge at low cost and with high quality; in addition to developing different skills for specific roles in the various teaching positions. On the other hand, why talk about the development of skills in university students? This is due to global labor trends, since each time the job positions require certain skills and certifications with multidisciplinary profiles, instead of requesting a single career that does not contemplate the holistic vision.

Speaking of global trends, we can highlight that distance education, hybridity in formats and immersive and gamified worlds, are part of how education is being transmitted today; Entrepreneurship, the humanities and the co-relation with the mental health of the participant are of vital importance.

Observing this trend, then we can determine that an alternative for this "Learning on Demand" is to ally ourselves with institutions and instances that offer courses, workshops, online degrees, certifications, among others, asynchronously with high quality and at low cost. Among the platforms that offer us these alternatives, there are many called LMS (Learning Management System) for its acronym in English, which are learning management systems, such as: Moodle, Google Activate, Coursera, Territorium, FutureLearn, EducaLab, edX, Khan Academy, Crehana, Stanford Online, Tutellus, Udacity, EducaLab, Udemy, UNED, Learn, Edactis, and some others have also joined such as LinkedIn Learning, MiriadaX, British Council, UniMooc, Learn Free, OpenLearn, among others.
