Abstract

Technological progress is a good thing, but also has a big impact on all parties including the manufacturing industry which is a very influential industry in various sectors. By using seven quality control tools (7QC) it is the manufacturing industry's effort to maintain quality which with this controller is able to control the production process, the seven tools are Check Sheet, Histogram, Preto Chart, Control Chart, Scatter Chart, Flow Chart, Fishbone Chart. Using planning, data selection and reporting of this literature study resulted in several problems that are common in the manufacturing industry, using these seven quality control tools found material problems, machine conditions that are not according to procedures or even damaged, inappropriate methods or lack of worker skills in operate production equipment, non-standard production sites, and unsupportive factory environment, as well as storage space that has not been properly controlled. The things above are common obstacles in the manufacturing industry, which cause wastage of costs and can result in losses for manufacturing companies.
