Abstract

In this paper, a fleet dispatching system is proposed. The system is able to acquire data like truck weight, traffic condition, and driver’s habits and then uses Modified Fuel Consumption Rate Considered Vehicle Routing Problem (MFCVRP) for route planning of the fleet. Doesn’t like the traditional Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem(CVRP), the MFCVRP considers more factors, so it will provide a more efficient route planning in practice. A simulation is done to compare the MFCVRP and the CVRP to verify the advantage of the new model.
