Abstract
In this paper we start with a brief literature review on HM, FM and BM. Then we relate these among themselves to argue that FM = HM + BM. We map these advanced manufacturing technologies to strategy of the organization. Later we give several interesting hypotheses and conjectures. Finally we draw a table that relates different types of flexibilities of HM, FM and BM.
