Track: Lean and Six Sigma
Abstract
As the role which service industry is playing on economy development becomes more and more important, the competitions within it are increasing rapidly. To improve the service efficiency is the key to gain success on service industry. Since Lean management in manufacturing has made a dramatic influence on cost reducing quality improving and efficiency enhancement, a lots of practitioners and the researchers start trying to implement lean management in service industry. The purpose of this article is to present the core idea derived from literature and contribute to “the applicability of lean”.
